The Psalmist reminds us that we cant carry our riches into death. Both wise and foolish and rich and poor all face the same fate. We will all one day enter into death. The only one that has the power to ransom us from death is God. In this Psalm, we get a glimpse into the future hope of the gospel. One day Jesus will experience death so that we may be ransomed from the grip of death.
