Part 1 - According to the National Integrated Drought Information System, the Virgin Islands has experienced severe to extreme drought conditions since December 2021. After checking in with the National Weather Service, guest host Sommer Sibily-Brown engages Christina Chanes, a research specialist within UVI's College of Science & Math, an extension agent with UVI Cooperative Extension Services (UVICES), and the VI coordinator for Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, & Snow Network (CoCoRaHS).
