Here's your So Cal 7-day surf forecast starting tomorrow.
Tomorrow, Tuesday 19th, expect a fresh WSW/W swell across Southern California, with average breaks pushing waist-chest-shoulder high through the day. Our South Ventura, the South Bay and South SD picks will cream the crop with head-high surf, occasionally reaching 2-3′ overhead. Winds may cause some early morning disruption in OC and SD, but overall, conditions should be favorable.
On Wednesday the 20th, expect reasonable surf sizes likely peaking from Wednesday PM into Thursday with average breaks pushing waist-shoulder high and winter standouts running head high up to 1-2′ overhead. Though unfavorable southerly winds and weather may hamper the surf conditions.
Heading into Thursday the 21st, it looks like conditions will be dicey from the powerful storm. Nonetheless, there is potential for head high+ surf at west-facing breaks and enduring swell.
Brace yourself for Friday the 22nd, as estimates are indicating about chest to head high waves at west-facing breaks.
Saturday the 23rd should bring chest high surf, while Sunday the 24th ramps up a bit with chest to head high surf at west-facing breaks.
By the time we get to Monday the 25th, we'll be looking at about chest high surf at west facing breaks with rogue waves starting to make an appearance from the next incoming swell.
Based on these forecasts, Wednesday and Thursday will be the best days to surf due to the strong WNW swell and head high to 1-2′ overhead waves.
That sums up your 7-day surf forecast. Don't forget to like and subscribe for more daily updates. Surf's up!
