Have you ever had a conversation with someone in the church about what they believe and what they said just seemed kind of…off? What they believed didn’t quite jibe with what you knew that scripture taught? The apostle Paul warned the Philippian church about such people. In teaching from these passages Pastor Mark is reminding us of the need to know what the Bible teaches. This will prevent our being deceived by those within the church who, whether they know it or not, are agents of Satan sent to derail the faith of true believers and get them back on the road to hell.
