Holy Week – Monday | Mark 11:12–25

It looked alive. Full of leaves. From a distance, it promised something real. But up close, there was nothing.

Jesus saw it and acted. A fig tree with no fruit. A temple full of noise but empty of justice.

Mark connects these stories to make a point: God isn’t impressed by appearances. Jesus is after something deeper—genuine faith lived out with mercy, integrity, and love.

This Holy Week, let’s pause and ask: Are we putting on a show, or are we living what we believe?
