Petersburg's Borough Assembly members tried to reach an agreement with Alaska Mental Health's Land Trust Office over the sale of a subdivision, to no avail;

the Anchorage Assembly is asking Alaska's congressional delegation to support a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas War;

and the Alaska Raptor Center in Sitka is looking for a new director.
