Ravens 19, Lions 17 – Tucker's NFL-record FG lifts Ravens to 19-17 win
Justin Tucker set an NFL record with a 66-yard field goal, bouncing it through off the crossbar as time expired to lift the Baltimore Ravens to a 19-17 win over the Detroit Lions. The kick topped the 64-yard field goal Matt Prater made for Denver against Tennessee on Dec. 8, 2013. Lamar Jackson threw a 36-yard pass to Sammy Watkins to get the Ravens across midfield with 7 seconds left. Baltimore went into the fourth with a 16-7 lead. Ryan Santoso made a go-ahead, 35-yard field goal with 1:04 left, giving coach Dan Campbell an opportunity to win his first game with the Lions.
Browns 26, Bears 6 – Garrett, Browns rough up rookie QB Fields, slam Bears 26-6
Myles Garrett made a franchise record 4 1/2 sacks on Justin Fields and Cleveland brought down Chicago’s rookie quarterback nine times while harassing him throughout his first NFL start as the Browns thumped the Bears 26-6. Garrett had a field day against Fields, who was thrust into the lineup after veteran Andy Dalton injured his knee last week. The Browns didn’t cut the former Ohio State star any slack, and their defense, which had been criticized for its performances in the first two games, got it together at Fields’ expense. Chicago's offense gained just 47 yards and converted only six first downs.
Titans 25, Colts 15 – Ryan Tannehill throws 3 TDs as Titans hold off Colts 25-16
Ryan Tannehill threw for 197 yards and three touchdowns as the Tennessee Titans held off the Indianapolis Colts 25-16 to grab an early tiebreaker in the AFC South. The road team had won the previous five games in this divisional rivalry. The Titans (2-1) are the defending AFC South champs with a healthy Derrick Henry. The reigning AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year ran for 113 yards as he topped the 100-yard mark for a sixth straight divisional game. The Colts (0-3) are off to their worst start since 2011. Carson Wentz started despite sprained ankles. He never ran and threw for 194 yards.

NFL – Chiefs coach Andy Reid in stable condition at hospital
Chiefs coach Andy Reid is resting and in stable condition after being taken to a hospital following Kansas City’s 30-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The Chiefs released a statement on Sunday night saying Reid was evaluated by the medical staff in the locker room after the game and was transported to The University of Kansas Health System for further evaluation as a precaution. The Chiefs have lost back-to-back games to the Ravens and Chargers and are in last place in the AFC West.
Golf – Ryder Cup – Americans win Ryder Cup in a rout
The young guns from the U.S. Ryder Cup team have completed the most lopsided win since Europe became part of the event in 1979. Daniel Berger won the final hole in the final match for the last point and a 19-9 victory at Whistling Straits. The final blow came from Collin Morikawa, at 24 the youngest player on the team and already a two-time major champion. He holed a 3-foot birdie putt on the 17th hole that assured the Americans at least the 14 ½ points they needed.
