The word of God is our physical hand-held, heart-connection to our savior, Jesus. He is all that matters and if we do not pick it up and read it, how can we say that we know Him at all?

It was when Leah realized her identity in God, as one of his beloved daughters, that she had the strength to continue to love an unloving husband, eventually earning his love in return.

God’s divine power to encircle this annual celebration of simultaneous heartbreak and hope, is evident in scripture and historical documentary. Jesus was and is the perfect example of the Law incarnate, yet He also became the sacrificial lamb. This paradox is why we can see Jesus and only Jesus as the fulfillment of the Law once and for all. 

The good news is that for all the demonic activity and evil intentions from our enemy in this world, there is a power even greater, and a name that overcomes all of it. And that name is Jesus.

In pretty much all of the situations God put Moses in, he really didn’t know how they would end. As Moses faithfully walked in obedience to God, he did not know how one thing would unfold into the next, but he did know the One who put him there. He had faith in the ending of each situation, because he had faith in the creator of the situation.

God is the kind of friend that we cannot do without. He is our strength. He is our peace. He is our provider. He is our place of rest. One day, when we are clothed in our glorified bodies we will be able to look on his face without the fear of death, and it will be amazing. Until that day comes, we cannot neglect the power and glory contained in the pages of the Bible.

I didn’t know how much I liked Moses. I guess I never realized just how difficult and extraordinary his life was. I never connected the stories to the emotions and heart of the man.

Moses was not only a Bible Hero. He was a super hero of Biblical proportions. Moses led one of the most incredible lives of anyone in history. God took 80 years preparing Moses. I guess it is never too late to ask God to show us his plan for our own lives and start our own journey in obedience. 

If we look at the hardening of Pharaoh’s heart from the perspective of God hand, we can see how He steers evil in a certain direction, but that doesn’t mean He manufactured it. What the enemy intends for evil, God can use for good. God’s ultimate purpose is to bring the eternal blessing of salvation to a fallen world of people who bear His image.

God has put a little spark inside all of us. All we need is His Holy Spirit to blow on it and ignite us to our place on the team.
