Monday Motivation: Mess to Mission

People are good. You might not think that if you listen to traditional news, but that's a lie. Everyday heroes and saints live among us and my goal is to introduce them to you.We are inspired by the words of Mother Teresa, "Do something beautiful for God. Do it with your life. Do it every day. 123: Worst Case Scenario - DON'T DO THIS!

This week's episode is a must. Leah's guest is Sean Clifford, CEO of Canopy, father of four, and man of many degrees. Sean founded Canopy in 2019 to help build a world of healthy tech users, starting by protecting children from pornography.

Leah and Sean talk about the impact of COVID on internet usage and the paradoxical need for devices and their dangers. They also talk about brain development in children and saving them as long as possible from harmful images, and how to rewrite the parenting playbook in a way that helps form kids to face the future with confidence and competence.

121: Embracing Who You Are

It's a heavy one, but I feel that it's important to share this, even though it's hard.

I'm sharing my story of losing my seventh baby. 

Motivation has to go hand in hand with suffering. We need the support, prayers, and encouragement of one another when we're carrying our crosses, and that's one of the graces I found in the helplessness of my miscarriage.

Even (or maybe especially!) in the midst of suffering, we have the opportunity to receive love, grace, and the good intentions of those around us.

Pray for me, friends. I'm praying for you.
