Monday Night Magic: #676 - Misunderstood Marketing
After taking a week off we've got a lot of stuff to cover this week. Pioneer bans, a followup to the Forsaken controversy, and extra planeswalkers in the Secret Lair are up first. Then we head into some Organized Play changes both in tabletop and Magic Online.
From there we're having some actual discussions about topics that aren't entirely news. First we debunk a misleading screenshot that caused Twitter outrage. Then there's a long conversation about Wizards of the Coast, paying with "exposure", and marketing on the whole. This is a really nuanced topic and we try to cover as much of that as possible.
And of course then there are tournaments and the final installment of Chewie's What's an EV? - Throne of Eldraine Gift Edition. Will he find the big money and fabulous prizes?
