Monday Night Magic: #679 - Ivory Soap Tower
Now that it's the end of January we figured we should do a second Monday Night Magic of the year. We've got a new Secret Lair drop, the roster for the MPL and the Rivals League for the 2020 partial season, the new Creator Program thing, and a single tournament. That single tournament was a completely sold out GP New Jersey that took place at the massively overcrowded MagicFest New Jersey. We're spending a fair amount of time on this, from the venue to potential reasons this was booked the way it was. Spurred on by a reddit post from a GP NJ judge, Cluze even gets on (in?) his titular Ivory Soap Tower to talk about the ordeal that judges go through to make Magic tournaments happen. Warning: it's not pretty.
