Far too often we try to maintain a self-serving approach to life as we follow Jesus. Instead of the mindset of, “What can I get away with and still maintain good standing with God…” we should desire to live a life that expresses deep gratitude for the love and grace He’s given. As Pastor Dan will remind us today, God’s forgiven us of so much, and to try to find exceptions or loopholes in His law and design is an insult to His grace and we’ll severely miss out on His greater purpose for our lives.
