Our world pushes the idea that you need to take care of “number one” first. Like so many worldly philosophies, there’s some basis in good, healthy truth here… if you aren’t in a healthy place mentally, emotionally, or spiritually, you won’t be able to contribute well to your world. But, as Pastor Marc will challenge us in today’s message, submitting ourselves to others in selfless service is an important part of being spiritually healthy. If serving yourself is your primary focus, it’ll harm your relationships.
