Today, Pastor Cody reminds us of the reality of this world as a result of the fall of Adam and Eve. Their sin has been passed down to all of us in a way, and that sin leads to death. And it’s important for us to acknowledge this reality – otherwise, we have no basis for understanding the evil, decay, and death that we experience in our broken world. By recognizing this reality, we see that there is a reason for these things. And that sets us up for the truth of Jesus, who offers life amidst a dying world.
