Jesus introduces a revolutionary kingdom in the Sermon on the Mount. He contrasts the values of two kingdoms: the old one which we are currently under, and the new one which is to come. When we understand the riches we have already received in Christ it not only liberates us from excessive concern over money, but also motivates us to invest in the eternal kingdom of God.
