You were probably taught how to develop a concept and defend the finished product. You were probably taught the basic principles of your craft. BUT you probably never learned things like:

• What if my client refuses to pay?
• Should I work for free to build my portfolio?
• How do I find new clients and new projects?
• What is proper email etiquette?
• How much do I charge?
