Andrew believes the franchise tag is ridiculous. The NFL is the only league that has it. After being drafted players are signed to 4 year contracts with a 5th year option. Then can be franchised for a year, Kirk Cousins was franchised two years. Players don’t hit free agency early enough and the average NFL career is barely 3 seasons.
