Hola mis amigxs! This episode's a good one- we've got NYC-based therapist Monica Gavilanes (LMSW) giving us some major knowledge on all-things therapy and self care. We hit on why therapy is so stigmatized in black and brown communities and how we can change its image moving forward. We hit on Monica's dreams of being a singer and even which Spice Girl she was growing up. Plus, she offers some expert tips on how we can ride out the end (?!) of this pandemic and shouts out her friends @k.amazuthecounselor and @harrietreturned, who are both putting out some amazing content.
