So much of Monica San Miguel’s life has been fighting against false dichotomies - straddling two cultures, two languages, two countries -never fully feeling like she belonged. From growing up in the Polished named streets of Chicago, to prestiguous Ivy leagues, to the financial tech industry, she’s found herself constantly carving her own path. 

But Monica's experience of "ni de aqui, ni de alla" and her desire to reclaim our narratives has fueled her to co-found VOLVERde, an online sustainable marketplace, that’s reframing sustainability and offering products made for us, by us.
