MonoRants... The Boys

So how about it you lot? One last rant? It's time to end The Boys with a final wrap all about season 5. Join us one last time (until Vought Rising) for a rant about not getting enough bad guy Butcher, getting too much Frenchie, the perfect endings for Deep, A-Train and, of course, Homelander, many full circle moments, some serious flip flopping, some unfair accusations and whether or not it IS what Clara would have wanted.

And a massive thank you to all our guests and ,of course, YOU the listener, for sticking with us through it all.

MonoRants will return for Vought Rising.

Let's finish off The Boys finale with part 2 of "Blood And Bone" and a rant about keeping your secret weapon secret, one hell of a fist fight, the best jump ever, Stan's return, Ryan choosing himself, Butcher & Hughie's final showdown, everyone's happy ending and Annie's child endangerment.

It's the last episode ever of The Boys so of course we're dragging it out. So in part 1 of "Blood & Bone" were ranting about Frenchie's funeral instructions, levelling up Kimiko, Ashley finally making a stand, The Deep's final humiliation, saying goodbye to Gen V, the one act of a true God and completely forgetting a summary on the last episode.

It's time to close out "The Frenchman, the Female, and the Man Called Mother's Milk" with part 2 of a rant about MM's return, Frenchie's departure, The Deep's last chance, The (kinda) real Kessler, Soldier Boy back in the tube and why three minutes is plenty of time.

It's the penultimate episode of The Boys.... Forever. So we're making it last in part one of "The Frenchman, the Female, and the Man Called Mother's Milk". Even though the name scared us, we're still ranting all about Sacrilegious Songs, callbacks to Season 1, snitching on the President, what's up with Marie, why Sage gets a pass and Homelander taking up the crown (of thorns).

We're back with part two of "Though The Heavens Fall" and this time we're ranting about MM getting some harsh truths, Kimiko refusing V1, Sage's team swapping (and hubris), Soldier Boy's inability to fight, The Legends survival, Homelander finally getting V1 and Ciara coming up with the best Supe name ever.

Yeah, another one. And probably not the last. So in part one of "Though The Heavens Fall" we're ranting about the lack of death (and the Gen V kids), Deep's unending stupidity, Black Noir's massive over-reaction & then under-reaction, The Legends return, what the psychics are for and one incredible Hugh Senior impression.

It's time for part two of "One Shots" as we finally get around to the long awaited supernatural reunion. But we barely mention it as this half is all about Sage revealing her plans, Ashley being terrified by said plans, Stan always knowing the right thing to say, Malchemical being surprisingly not horrible, Mr Marathon's mates and the real reason Vought Speedsters suck.

This episode has five parts therefore we're allowed to do at least two. So for part one we're ranting about Firecracker's faltering faith, Noir takong to the stage, Terror's incredible dreams, saying bye bye to Bourke and passionately kissing Jesus figurines.

It's time for a road trip to the ironically named Fort Harmony where no one has any. The Boys hunt for V1 nearly tears them apart, Annie gets some answers from her past, Homelander wants Firecracker to sell him as God and we question Frenchies continued survival
