October, or Horrortober as we like to say, is here and it’s time to start watching horror movies everyday up to Halloween. In keeping with our tradition, we have created a list for you using the spooktacular book 31 Days of Halloween by Steve Hutchison. It's a new Monster Men! We are thrilled to welcome back our pal Tim Waggoner, author of the highly anticipated novelizations of X, Pearl and Maxxxine. We discuss the behind-the-scenes process of writing a novelization, as well as the entire phenomenon of books based on movies. It’s a fascinating conversation with lots of laughs and even more insight into the genre.
Tim is an award-winning author with over 50 novels, including novelizations of Terrifier 2 and Halloween Kills. He’s also done tie-ins to Alien, Supernatural, Resident Evil and more. His books on writing, including Writing in the Dark, are must-reads for any writer or horror fan.
