The monster of apathy. This can be the deadliest of monster because it hides itself so well and is the most culturally accepted. If you aren’t moving towards Jesus with a sense of urgency, you’ll get swallowed by the monster of apathy, not caring, just floating through life. When Jesus looks at the fig tree he expects to find fruit and when he doesn’t he curses the tree. When he looks at our lives as Christians, he expects to see good fruit showing through as well.
