A Montgomery County woman charged with homicide and attempted homicide was found dead in the Schuylkill River, officials say. Tonya Dupree, 57, of King of Prussia, allegedly pointed a gun at her adult son on the morning of May 10 in the parking lot of a FedEx Warehouse, before he managed to disarm her and she fled. Later, police conducting a welfare check at her home discovered her husband, Robert Dupree, 62, dead from a gunshot wound. Approximately an hour after that discovery, Dupree's body was found in the river near the 4500 block of Kelly Drive. Authorities confirm the investigation remains ongoing. The EU Commission has launched legal action against five member states—Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, and Spain—for failing to comply with the bloc’s controversial online censorship regulation, the Digital Services Act (DSA). The lawsuit, part of the Commission's "May infringements package," accuses these nations of either not designating national digital services coordinators or failing to grant them sufficient authority to enforce the DSA. The regulation, along with the Digital Markets Act, is criticized for centralizing power in Brussels and encroaching on national sovereignty and digital freedoms. Bulgaria has been warned it may also face similar legal measures if it does not swiftly implement compliance steps. New Jersey Democratic Representative Rob Menendez has sharply criticized Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) following a recent visit to an ICE detention facility in Newark. Speaking on Sunday, Menendez pointed to a series of escalating incidents that he believes could have been avoided, stating that responsibility lay squarely with ICE and HSI, who "chose not to" deescalate the situation. Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso expressed skepticism that the White House's proposed suspension of habeas corpus will ever reach Congress. Speaking on NBC’s “Meet The Press” Sunday, Barrasso responded to remarks from White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller, who had indicated that President Trump and his team were exploring the controversial move. Despite the suggestion, Barrasso said he doesn't anticipate the proposal being formally introduced in the legislative branch. Police Failing to Learn from Handling of Non-Crime Hate Incidents, Says Miller, following criticism of Kent Police for arresting a retired special constable over a social media post. Julian Foulkes, a pensioner, was detained after expressing concerns about anti-Semitism in Britain, with officers reportedly entering his home and examining his belongings. His treatment has drawn sharp criticism, with some branding the force's actions as "un-British." Scarlets strengthened their United Rugby Championship playoff hopes with a crucial 32-19 bonus-point victory over the Lions in South Africa. SEGA unveiled major updates during today’s Virtua Fighter Direct, thrilling fans with fresh details about the franchise’s future. The New Virtua Fighter Project revealed new character additions, including the return of Canadian pro-wrestler Wolf, while Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. is set to expand across multiple platforms with full crossplay support.
