Monument dedicated to Missouri War of 1812 vets one step closer to completion
The foundation for the Fort Mason monument in northeast Missouri’s Saverton has been completed marking the first two phases of a project to honor the Missouri veterans of the War of 1812.
Bill Dexheimer is the man behind the project. He tells Anthony Morabith that the goal is to dedicate the monument to the 60 vets who built the fort to protect the territory from British-supported forces.
