(2 Corinthians 4:8-9,17-18) --- We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed…Therefore, we don’t lost heart…but our light affliction is just for a moment.

#1 - When Life is Unpredictable… God Does Not Change.

(2 Thessalonians 3:3) --- But the Lord is faithful and will strengthen you and protect you against the evil one. 

(Psalm 18:30-32) --- As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect.

Why is there so much suffering and evil in the world?

Is there an evil spirit at work in the world? 

#2 – He Uses Uncertainty to Bring FEAR. 

• A Serpent That Creeps
• A Fowler That Snares
• A Lion That Roars

TRAP - Thinking that Fear is just an emotion.

(2 Timothy 1:7) — For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

#3 - Kingdom people are Fear Free.

(1 John 4:15-18) — All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. And as we live in God, our love grows more perfect. So we will not be afraid on the day of judgment, but we can face him with confidence because we live like Jesus here in this world. Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is because fear involves torment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love.
