On today’s episode I have a conversation with Paul Shvartsman.  Paul is the coach of the Burlington Massachusetts High School Wrestling Program.  As coach of the Burlington’s program Paul has coached one of only four teams from Massachusetts to finish in the top 2 of the New England Championship Tournament in the past 30 years.  Additionally, he’s coached 1 All-State Championship team, 1 state championship team, 2 sectional championship teams and 5 league championship teams. 

 

He has also coached 42 individual sectional champs, 26 state champs, 7 all state champs, and 1 New England Champion.  Needless to say, Paul is a creator of champions.

 

He was also my coach in youth and high school wrestling and the first person to teach me about goal setting, visualization, the power of the mind and the payoff of the long grueling process of putting in hard work to achieve your goals.
