March 29 will see New York's Moon Tooth release their second full length Crux on Modern Static Records. To say it's hard rock with metal armor is putting it lightly since the band shifted their trajectory a bit from 2016's progressive leaning Chromaparagon and opted for some of the most hard charging, arena ready rock they've ever done. It's aggressive and memorable, two things that rarely go together these days but Moon Tooth nails it.
Just ahead of the album's release, guitarist Nick Lee took some time to chat with our own Josh Stewart about the new album, a current tour with one of the album's producers Mark Morton, lessons learned, solid advice for any new band, and all manner of other things Crux-related. We now present that conversation to you. Jump on in and take a listen!
