Guest Rep. Tyrone Brooks of House District 63 in the Georgia General Assembly. Rep. Brooks is known around the World as the the man who changed the Georgia Flag. Rep Brooks is a well known human and civil rights activist. He has been a the forefront and involved in the struggle for freedom, justice and equality since 1960 and has been jailed 66 times for civil rights work. Rep. Tyrone Brooks will join us to discuss current legislation being passed in Georgia and will also discuss the Moore's Ford Bridge Lynching of 1946. A group of armed men pulled two black couples out of a farmers car,tied them to trees and shot them. Their bodies were barely recognizable. One of two women was pregnant and one of the lynching mob pulled out a knife and cut the unborn child from Dorothy Malcolms body. No one has been brought to justice for the crime. The known killers are said to be alive and well still living in the same area that the murders occurred. Tune in for this lively discussion.
