Moose is amazed when he sees a sign by the side of the road that says "Moose Crossing". He must be very important to have his own sign, although his best friend, Hildy, doesnt agree. When tourists arrive, hoping to catch sight of him, Moose finds he cant go anywhere without being recognized. Suddenly his life isnt as simple as it used to be. Maybe being famous isnt all that great. How can he find a way to get rid of all those fans and get things back to the way they used to be?

Moose and Hildy - you getting the idea there is a series of books with the two of them? Look around..
Delightful to look at, delightful to hold, but when I read the blurb, We had to mark it "Sold" ! a children's book - naturally... how can you go wrong? WE grew up with Grimm's fairy tales and other things we though were benign, but seeing them remade into movies and different venues, they weren't so innocent, were they? lol - These, today, were written by younger folk, who have broken the old habits we had of Snow White and Rumpelstiltskin... Can't go wrong with these books.. seriously.
Five Stars
Great book for kids.
Five Stars
A good story to remind you not to get a big head. :)
Cute series
I got this and others in the series to read to my 2 boys (11 & 8) while on vacation. They both enjoyed them.
A cute story and great art
My wife and I just got back from Vermont where we saw tons of Moose crossing signs, which is why I got this book. I thought it would be funny and it is a cute story. It's about a moose that becomes a little conceited and becomes a prisoner in his own home. Through a number of humorous attempts to stop the people from hounding him he finally comes up with a great plan. It's a very short read, I read it in less then 10 minutes and the art work really is great. There are some words that I think would take some explaining to smaller children like "fedora" but overall it really seems like a good book. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars. I see you can actually buy this on Kindle, I would recommend you not do that. You want to get the full artwork to really make the story, reading it on a kindle would be very disappointing.
