Evil exists. Everyone seems to believe that. But not everyone draws out the implications of this fact. Moral standards are present in the conscience of people. Moral standards distinguish good from evil. Good and evil are based on value and the expression or reduction of that value. If naturalistic evolution is true, this value is only an illusion. If the difference between good and evil is real, then a value-giver must have deposited value into the system. God is the standard of good and the ultimate value-giver. The existence of God makes sense of the reality of goodness, morality, and value.
