Hot, dry, and breezy conditions will create an elevated threat for grass fires along and west of I-35 today. Many locations will be near or exceed record high temperatures again with humidity values in the 15-25%.

A strong cold front is expected to move through overnight into Wednesday morning, bringing gusty winds and much cooler temperatures for midweek. Strong post-frontal winds will keep wind chills in the 40s and 50s during the afternoon.
