Rory goes to Hetty Crackjaw's for a hair cut. He is noticed by by an unsmiling Muriel Ferguson. Hetty talks of many people in the district. Rory and Danny then go to the supermarket where Rory meets Raj and Sariswati and their children. Later in the day, Ivy, Richard and Max go to Corker's Creek Park for dinner before staying overnight with Rory and Danny.
