Our culture’s definition of more life is independence and

consumption, but God’s definition of more life is less of us, and more

of Him. In order to shift our focus from ourselves to God we must

recognize that:

1. More life in Christ means less pride and more praise. There is

more life in surrendering to God and His perfect plans for us.

2. More life in Christ means less superiority and more empathy.

When we compare ourselves to others we remove compassion from

our relationships with one another.

3. More life in Christ means less consumption and more service.

A heart of service is Jesus’s heart and our goal should always be to

look more like Him.
