Well I am most certain many expect a Christmas message this morning. I would have you know however that every Sunday message is a Christmas message. Every message is founded on the Holy word of God and the redeeming power of Jesus Christ, Gods only begotten Son without whom there would be no Christmas. Ok so just maybe you will get a little semblance to Christmas that you were looking for as we will look at gifts. But I must tell you that when Christ walked the face of this earth in which we now live He called it like it was. Sin was always sin, wrong was always wrong, and good was always good, and still the only way to obtain salvation and freedom from your sins was by being willing to accept the most perfect gift our father in heaven could ever give us. To understand that to receive this gift unto yourself was to receive the most precious and valuable gift you could ever have the opportunity to receive. That Gift of His Son the way to receive salvation and forgiveness of sin by believing then simply asking in repentance.--Not only this, but it is Christ who has promised to return to carry all the children of God to their eternal home. Only those who willfully accept Christ as their savior, those who receive this most precious gift from God shall have the opportunity to have full confidence in the belief of God and Christ His Son that they would not be ashamed before Him at His second coming.--The example that we should see here is that it is better to give than receive. When you do receive, receive with gratitude for the gift you have been given.
