We need to have an epiphany moment: God always wants more and better for us. It can be easy for us to assume that, if God says "no" to a request, we are getting less than we wanted. Saying "yes" to all of our imperfect requests could result in us receiving less joy, less blessing, a lesser life. When God says, "no" to our requests, we can be assured his response is to give us better. God's love for us is not existing as a divine vending machine; it is like that of a groom for his bride.
