Today, I'm sharing my conversation with Sarah Tilley.

Sarah was one of the first people on my 8-Weeks to OBM course that I ran this year. And I know you're totally going to relate to her story. Especially juggling the homeschool and work during lockdown this year. 

Sarah started her VA business alongside her full-time job. While on maternity leave, Sarah realised she needed more flexibility from her career and delighted her VA clients by telling them that she'd be focussing on her business full-time.

In our chat, Sarah talks about how she dreamed of becoming a PA, and how a newspaper supplement helped shape her career.

Sarah always knew she was way more-than-a-VA, and fully transitioned into the Online Business Manager role in 2020.

Sarah on being an OBM:

"An Online Business Manager gets to know your business, suggests improvements and finds people to do stuff. If I have a client and he's overwhelmed – do you want me to find somebody to program that Excel sheet we need or try to do it myself? An Online Business Manager finds experts and they're more proactive."
