This episode is part one of a two part series where Jasmin takes her BFF swimming with sharks at the Georgia Aquarium. He is naturally skeptical of ALL animals, the outdoors, the ocean and any situation where he isn't in direct control of his environment, but friends don't let friends live in their comfort zones! Tune is as Daniel (affectionately known as DD by Jasmin) and Jasmin discuss some of his hopes for the experience, fears and why the heck he agreed to do this. We will follow-up next week to see if he had the time of his life or if over a decade of friendship will be thrown down the drain because Jasmin convinced him to get into a shark tank. Hahahahahaha! Either way, it's bound to be a wild ride!
In this episode we talk about our mothers and how they taught us valuable lessons at a young age, a lot of them we still think about today! If you're feeling generous donate to the podcasts paypal and find us on twitter!

Staying balanced is something Jazz and Tri talk about a bunch, and Ariana definitely talks about shifting your mindset and listening to your body when you are burnt out or needing a mental reset. Tune in for this bite sized episode!
Surprise! Tri took the opportunity to have a solo show where friends in and out of science talk about their research and what they do for fun! This week, Dr. Rick Crouse joins the show to talk about Yale, community gardens, mouse brains, chickens, tabletop games and his academic experience. If Rick's journey resonated with you and you have Q's, shoot him an email ([email protected]). Hope y'all enjoy this surprise episode!
On this episode Jazz and Tri talk about their allyships, advocating for different communities and how you can be a better ally. Remember, being an ally takes work and constant learning. It can get uncomfortable, but growth can be uncomfy sometimes and that's how we know we are better versions of ourselves. From academia to personal relationships, they discuss when people have advocated for them and how those experiences went. Here is a link to a GREAT SNL skit talking about what allyship is (and is not) to the Black Community. Don't forget to follow Jazz and Tri on twitter to send in those questions for our special tenth episode at the end of the month!
