This weekend, Pastor Ron Cathcart reminded us that we were made for more; more than comfort, more than success, and definitely more than ourselves.

In this powerful message from Philippians 2:1–11, Pastor Ron shared how every follower of Jesus is called to live with a clear purpose — to share the good news of Jesus with others. Our purpose is not to live for ourselves but to reflect the heart of Jesus, who humbled Himself, served others, and gave His life so that we could be set free.

Through the story of the lost sheep in Luke 15 and personal moments from his own life, Pastor Ron painted a beautiful picture of what it means to love the “one.” Because others starts with just one — one person you notice, one need you meet, one conversation that could change a life.

This message also reminds us that humility isn’t weakness, it’s the strength to put someone else first. It’s choosing to love, serve, and give because Jesus did the same for us. Every act of generosity, every conversation of hope, every moment of obedience brings glory to God.

As we continue our Made for More journey, we’re asking God to show us how to live for His purpose — to see the ones around us, to love them well, and to join Him in what He’s doing across our city and beyond. Because we truly believe:
