More Tornadoes and Flooding for the South?

Listen Later

Last night, an EF3 tornado tore through the heart of Nashville, dropping baseball sized hail, and killing at least 22 people. Thankfully, the severe weather is done for Tennessee throughout Tuesday, so hopefully some recovery can start to happen. However, the severe weather is not done for the Deep South. An intense low will move into the Eastern Texas area throughout today, and slowly make its way across the Southeast. This system could bring up to 5 inches of rain to areas in Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia, with severe flooding and possibly tornadoes likely throughout the week.
