The frequency of references to the Light in the Bible, with particular interest to both God the Father and Christ the Son plays an important role in describing God Himself, but also the character of God. In John Chapter 12, Jesus builds on this motif in metaphorically calling people to not only believe in Him as the Christ, but to follow Him as He lights their way. He extends the same invitation to us wherein He will lead us to become children of the Light, a privileged position not but by family bonds but by the will of God by grace through faith in Christ.

THE HOLY WEEK SERIES #1

This, the first episode in the special Holy Week Series, features an analysis of the symbolism present as Mary anoints Jesus feet. We find many corollaries in Scripture that pertain to the Messianic character of Christ, significant to Him fulfilling that role.
