There are piles of masterpieces here.”

Rio Cortez lives in NYC. She is a Pushcart nominee and graduate of the MFA program at NYU. She has received fellowships from Poet’s House, Cave Canem and Canto Mundo Foundations. Poems can be found at Prairie Schooner, Sugar House Review, Huizache Magazine, Chrorus: A Mixtape and elsewhere.

Matthew Rohrer is the author of eight books of poetry, most recently Surrounded by Friends, published in April by Wave Books.
