On the latest episode of Mormon Book Reviews, John Hamer returns to discuss the 1844-1860 period of Church history. This was a very tumultous time in which many there were many claimants to succeed Joseph Smith. We discuss James Strang, William Bickerton and Joseph Smith III among others. The Mormon Reformation is discussed as well as the beginning of the formation of what would become the RLDS.
