Honoring the Lord with the firstfruits of your increase isn't about God needing your money — it's about your heart recognizing where every good gift comes from. He who sows sparingly reaps sparingly, and he who sows bountifully reaps bountifully. The love of Christ compels us, because we're convinced that He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him. Whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
