My soul is satisfied as with the richest of foods; with joyful lips my mouth will praise You. — Psalm 63:5-6

David speaks of a soul satisfaction that runs deeper than any earthly pleasure — satisfied as with marrow and fatness, praising God with joyful lips even in the night watches. God's thoughts toward you are precious, more than the sand. How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth. Whom have I in heaven but You? There is none on earth I desire besides You.
