What I am saying, brothers, is that the time is short. From now on those who have wives should live as if they had none; — 1 Corinthians 7:29

Paul says it plainly: the time is short. Our days are like a passing shadow; the world is passing away along with its desires. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore, the end of all things is at hand; be serious and watchful in your prayers.
