The Lord will not cast off forever. Though He causes grief, He'll have compassion according to the abundance of His love. For a small moment He hides His face, but with everlasting kindness He'll have mercy. The mountains may depart, but His covenant of peace won't be removed. When you sit in darkness, He will be your light.
