The works of the flesh are evident, but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The grace of God trains us to renounce ungodliness and live godly lives. The spirit doesn't just help you kill sin — he grows fruit in its place.
