When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” — Mark 2:5

Those four words change everything: 'your sins are forgiven.' Jesus didn't say 'maybe' or 'try harder' — he declared it with full authority. God really does blot out your transgressions, cast your sins into the sea, and remove them as far as east from west. The blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin, and being forgiven isn't a license to sin — it's what sets you free from sin's grip, because you're no longer under law but under grace.
