You want to know God's will? Start by knowing God. His will isn't a hidden map you need to decode — it's that you'd be sanctified, that you'd know the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he has sent. Paul's prayer is still the right one: that God would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, because the person who knows God discerns his will. So acquaint yourself with him and be at peace — stop trying to figure out the plan and start knowing the person.
