AM Edition for July 16
Today's scripture reminds us of the importance of maintaining a continual sense of dependence on the Lord for all our blessings and provisions. Just as the Israelites gathered fresh manna every morning, we must seek new grace and strength from the Lord each day. We cannot rely on past spiritual experiences or old anointings to sustain us; we need fresh oil from the sanctuary to keep our spirits alive and vibrant. It is the Lord who places us on the summit of His holy mountain, and only He can keep us there. Our comforts and joys, the light of our eyes and the strength of our lives, all lie in His hands and are sustained by His will.
